Welcome to Talk Crystal Palace!
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Ollie and I’m 19 years old. I’m currently studying Journalism at Newcastle University. I already have a YouTube channel called Talk Crystal Palace, which launched nearly a year ago now and has established itself as one of the leading Crystal Palace fan channels on the platform.
Writing has always been a passion of mine: I have a personal blog which I used to write on regularly (the YouTube business kind of halted its progress) and I feel like, at the moment, there isn’t really a website with articles, videos and audio clips all dedicated to the club we love.
This site is not going to be producing the same content that I do on YouTube: my channel is based very much on the team itself, whereas this particular blog will be dedicated to the other aspects of the club: the fans, those working behind the scenes, away days, whatever it may be. I’m hoping to expand Talk Crystal Palace into more than just a fan channel.
I will be looking to be putting up content twice a week on this website to begin with: these will be in the forms of interviews, features or analyses. I will certainly be looking for fans to chat with in the near future, so make sure you follow me on Twitter (@TalkCPFC) to keep updated with these things!
